The Director's Fortnight
Independent, free and non-competitive films.
Dates to be confirmed.
Founded in 1969, the Directors' Fortnight annually presents a selection of feature films, from fiction and documentary, and a dozen short films in parallel with the Cannes Film Festival.
The aim of this annex festival is to present independent, free and non-competitive films to the public, in order to introduce young filmmakers, as well as to showcase the latest works by established filmmakers.
At the end of this fortnight, various Awards are presented such as the Society of Authors and Composers for Drama prize, and the Europa Cinemas prize.
